I will get back to this as soon as life slows down. I have no clue when that will be!
Tonight I am missing Anchorage. I love Seattle but I really, really miss Anchorage. It is my most favorite place ever.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
I was excited to read this book. Look at that cover! It's gorgeous! But I have to say, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it.
Book Description...
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this book. I loved some of the characters. They are interesting. I love the story idea of the book. It's intriguing. But honestly, I was a little confused throughout the book. *******SPOILER ALERT******* Mara is suffering from PTSD because of the accident. And at times, I didn't know if she was hallucinating or if something was really happening. It wasn't always clear what was going on. I had to reread a few things. There are a lot of unanswered questions too. But hopefully they will be answered in the next book.
I loved Noah, mostly. He's your token jerk who turns out to be a good guy. And of course he's beautiful. ******
I will read the rest of the volumes that follow this one. I can't leave myself hanging but this book drove me a little crazy.
I can see why some people absolutely love it & why others hate it.
If you have some spare time, give this book a try. I would be interested in hearing what you think about it.
Book Description...
Mara Dyer doesn't think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can't remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.
She doesn't believe that after everything she's been through, she can fall in love.
She's wrong.

It's gonna be a good day!
Happy Anniversary to me & Rich!
We have been married 10 years today! And I can honestly say that I love him more today than I ever thought possible. He is my best friend.
What are we doing to celebrate? Well, not much. I am home with a very sick Kira. She has a temp of 101. She feels awful. And on Monday, I took the bottle away from Jace. He is still suffering from withdrawal today. He is not happy about not getting a bottle. He is refusing his milk. Each time I give him his cup, he pushes it away. So stubborn already and really, really grumpy.
But on a lighter note, Garret is doing good. This morning he told me that when he is old enough, he is moving to Utah. My sad thought... That's great Garret. I hope it's to play baseball for the Utes.
What I actually said "ok."
Anyway, maybe after basketball practice tonight we will be able to go to dinner ........ with the kids. I'm not sending them to a sitter in this condition. Tylenol will hopefully be Kira's friend later on tonight.
I guess I could look at today as what better way to celebrate 10 wonderful years of marriage than taking care of the 3 beautiful kids that have come from this marriage. I wouldn't trade it for the world!
Gonna stay positive!
